Inspired by traditional Southern folk magic and spiritual bathing practices, Bayou Renewal supports deep energetic cleansing and a spiritual reset. Ritual bathing has long been used in many traditions as a powerful method of purification—washing away what no longer serves you so that clarity, strength, and sovereignty can return. This is my own recipe developed from 45 years of practice.

This carefully crafted blend contains essential oils long associated with spiritual cleansing, uncrossing, purification, protection, and energetic renewal. Together, they create a bath experience intended to clear stagnant influences and help you reclaim your personal power.

Key Ingredients

🌿 Sage

Traditionally used for spiritual cleansing and purification. Sage is widely associated with clearing stagnant or unwanted energies.

🌿 Rosemary

Long regarded as a powerful herb of purification and protection. Rosemary is believed to promote clarity, strengthen spiritual boundaries, and uplift the spirit.

🌿 Hyssop

One of the most well-known herbs in traditional uncrossing and purification practices. Hyssop has historically been used in spiritual cleansing rituals to remove negative spiritual influences.

🌿 Ginger

A warming and activating root associated with protection, power, and energetic movement. Ginger helps break up stagnant energy and restore momentum.

🌸 Jasmine Blossom

Associated with emotional balance, harmony, and confidence. Jasmine brings softness and restoration after deep, energetic cleansing.

Carrier Oil:

Sweet Almond Oil (with Vitamin E) for skin conditioning and smooth application.

Magickal Uses

Use Bayou Renewal: Cleanse and Reclaim Bath Oil when you need to:

• Cleanse yourself after exposure to negativity or stressful environments

• Remove crossed conditions or unwanted spiritual influences

• Reset after emotional, energetic, or spiritual exhaustion

This oil is particularly helpful when you feel drained, energetically tangled, or spiritually overwhelmed.

How to Use:

Add several drops (not more than 1/2 ounce worth) to a warm bath and soak for at least 10–20 minutes. Be sure to cover yourself head to toe (including hair) with the bath water so that no residual negative energy stays attached. Best practice is to wallow in the tub like an alligator. You may also add a handful of sea salt to your bath for extra cleansing and grounding as needed.

While bathing, focus on the intention of washing away everything that does not belong to you. Visualize any negativity, crossed conditions, or spiritual debris dissolving into the water and leaving your body and spirit.

You may choose to say a prayer, affirmation, or intention such as:

"What is not mine washes away.

My spirit is clear, protected, and reclaimed."

After bathing, air-dry, not towel-dry, and allow yourself time to rest and ground your energy.
