This Seller Policy (the “Policy”) governs the rights and responsibilities of vendors (“Seller,” “you,” “your”) who operate shops and conduct business on Witchsey, a metaphysical multi-vendor marketplace owned by Witchsey LLC (“Witchsey,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

This Policy forms an integral part of the Witchsey Terms of Use and is legally binding upon account registration and continued use of the Platform.


1. Seller Eligibility & Account Responsibility

  • Only vendors offering metaphysical or spiritually relevant goods and services are eligible to apply. Eligibility is determined at Witchsey’s sole discretion and may include review of your product catalog, brand presentation, professional conduct, and spiritual alignment.

  • All vendors must pass Witchsey’s onboarding and approval process prior to listing any items for sale.

  • Sellers must provide accurate, truthful account information, including identity, contact details, and payment credentials. Falsified or incomplete information may result in denial or termination of access.

  • Vendors are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and all activities conducted under their account.

  • A single individual or business may not operate multiple shops under different identities without prior written approval from Witchsey.


2. Product Integrity and Listings Requirements

You agree to list only products or services that meet the following standards:

  • Metaphysical Relevance: Products must directly relate to spiritual, energetic, esoteric, or metaphysical practices (e.g., divination, ritual, healing, ancestral work, astrology).

  • Accuracy & Representation: Listings must include truthful titles, detailed descriptions, accurate photography, and complete information (materials, dimensions, purpose, origin).

  • No False Guarantees: Claims about metaphysical benefits must be respectfully worded and never promise guaranteed outcomes (e.g., “guaranteed love” or “cure-all”).

  • Prohibited Items: Sellers may not offer or imply the sale of:

    • Weapons, explosives, or hazardous materials

    • Illegal substances or restricted plants/herbs

    • Human or animal remains

    • Items depicting or promoting hate speech, violence, or racism

    • Culturally appropriated or misrepresented spiritual items (e.g., sacred tools from closed traditions offered without permission)

    • Products that infringe upon third-party intellectual property rights

  • Digital & Service Offerings: Readings, coaching, or digital metaphysical services must clearly outline the scope, delivery method, turnaround time, and refund policy.

Witchsey reserves the right to remove any listing deemed harmful, misleading, noncompliant, or misaligned with the values of the community.


3. Fulfillment, Shipping & Delivery

You are responsible for fulfilling orders according to the timelines and terms provided in your shop.

  • Orders must be shipped within the listed processing window. Delays must be communicated proactively to the buyer through the Witchsey platform.

  • Tracking information must be provided for all shipments when available.

  • Vendors must package orders securely and use reliable delivery services.

  • If delivery confirmation is required to initiate payment release (per the Fees & Payment Policy), vendors are responsible for ensuring tracking or delivery confirmation is captured.

  • Sellers must comply with applicable shipping, customs, and import/export laws. Any failure to do so that results in seizure, fines, or disputes is the vendor’s responsibility.


4. Customer Service, Dispute Resolution & Conduct

Sellers agree to uphold a high standard of professionalism in all interactions with Witchsey buyers and staff.

  • You must respond to buyer messages and inquiries within 48 hours, unless extenuating circumstances apply.

  • Refunds, returns, and exchanges must be handled in accordance with your shop policies, which must be clearly posted and not conflict with Witchsey’s core platform rules.

  • In the event of a dispute, Witchsey reserves the right to:

    • Review all communication and transaction details

    • Temporarily hold funds pending resolution

    • Issue a platform credit, refund, or account warning based on outcome

    • Override vendor decisions when customer protection is warranted

Vendors must not engage in retaliatory behavior, including negative feedback manipulation, harassment, or threats.


5. Fees, Payment, and Financial Terms

By selling on Witchsey, you agree to the financial terms in our Witchsey Fees & Payment Policy, including:

  • A 5% commission fee on the total product amount (excluding shipping and any applicable taxes).

  • A payment processor fee of 3.0% + $0.30 USD, applied per transaction by a third-party payment gateway.

  • Net payout is released 8 days after confirmed delivery, provided no dispute is pending.

  • A reserve hold (1–5%) may be applied to each sale to cover potential dispute costs, fraud prevention, or chargebacks. Held funds are released once the return window closes as per your shop policy.

  • Sellers must keep their banking information current to avoid delayed or missed payouts.

All fees are automatically deducted before disbursement.


6. Legal and Tax Responsibilities

  • Sellers are independent business owners and are solely responsible for reporting and remitting any income, sales, VAT, or other applicable taxes in accordance with local and international law.

  • Sellers must comply with all applicable business licensing, labeling, safety, and commerce laws in their jurisdiction.

  • Witchsey does not act as a merchant of record and does not issue 1099 forms unless otherwise required by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold Witchsey harmless for any tax obligations or legal violations related to your shop.


7. Prohibited Seller Conduct

You may not:

  • Transact off-platform to avoid Witchsey’s fees

  • Mislead, deceive, or manipulate buyers

  • Solicit fake reviews or falsify sales history

  • Operate multiple shops for the purpose of bypassing moderation

  • Engage in spiritual fraud, cultural theft, or exploitative marketing

  • Threaten, bribe, or retaliate against buyers or Witchsey staff

  • Interfere with another shop’s business, including false reporting or defamation

Violations may result in account warnings, suspension, permanent bans, fund holds, and/or legal action.


8. Witchsey’s Rights

Witchsey reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate seller accounts at any time, with or without notice, for violations or business reasons.

  • Remove or block listings that are non-compliant, offensive, or misaligned with our values.

  • Modify platform policies, payout timelines, or fee structures with 30 days’ notice.

  • Withhold funds in the event of fraud, pending investigation, or chargebacks.


9. Policy Changes & Notifications

Witchsey may update this Seller Policy periodically. All material changes will be posted on the Platform and sent via email or dashboard notifications. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
